Is game fly worth the try?

For anyone who doesn't know Gamefly is the Netflix of games, or if you still don't know... you rent games from them for a fixed price every month. Gamefly is the biggest renter of games in the United states and has quite a reputation. Though some might say that the prices are a little high. You start off with the free trail of 7 or eight dollars for one game and about 15 for two games at a time(14 days is the trial period). If you don't like it then you cancel it before your charged.

I did the free trial before I bought my subscription to Gamefly and this was my experience. It went great with two games out at a time I got Sonic's ultimate collection and Spider-Man shattered dimensions. I picked out my Que list and within 3 days my games arrived via USPS. Now this was very fast, not to mention unexpected. They also send you an e-mail telling you that they've shipped out your games. Gamefly currently has 5 shipping stations and plan on expanding in the near future. The only actual downside that I can say it that the actual trial should be a little longer for simple fact that it takes 3 days for your games to be shipped (for me personally) or longer for others, This counts toward your trail.

When I actually got the subscription something else happened the prices went up from what they were to 11 dollars for one game and 22 dollars for another game. They limit you to two games out at any given time. Something that I like personally is the automatic Que list in which they automatically ship out the next game once they receive the last one. There is also a points system which counts towards your membership. It goes toward buying games and other such things associated with the site. You can still cancel at any time you want but it'd be better if you did it toward the beginning of your next payment period(that way you don't pay a month for nothing).

While browsing through games there are literally thousands of games to choose from. That's a great asset, especially when you want to play some games you have never hear of or the newest game out. When choosing the newest game or most popular, unless you put it on your list first you may end up waiting awhile. The good thing is most games are available as soon as you click it. They even have games for Ps2, GameCube, and Xbox. Which is pretty cool for you old gen lovers. Also they offer movies but personally I still can't find them. One more thing is that for all games it gives you reviews, cheats, videos, etc. This way you know exactly what your getting yourself into.

Overall it is a great service to try. That is if your willing to pay for it. I'm not here trying to persuade you into the service but more like an overview. Most would say just go to BlockBuster or buy it because it's cheaper. I would say that it is to an extent. BlockBuster charges about 7 dollars for one week and if your a member maybe a little longer or for additional fees. Buying a certain game would be like a one month subscription. This is great, unless you run through games like me then Gamefly is perfect. This type of service is more likely for those who play games a lot and like a variety of different games. If you want to play one or two games for the entire month then your wasting your money so don't do it.

F.Y.I I just logged on to my account and they've added 3 games for 30 dollars. This is great compared to two at around 22 dollars.

P.S if you would like to try follow this >link< it's for two months.

P.P.S You can always cancel at anytime.

Hope you enjoyed what I had to say thanks for reading.
